I know I said I would stop (well, at least take it down a notch) buying books, but this week I'm completely innocent! I didn't buy any of these books. Now I have two high stacks of books on my windowsill. I need to read more and faster! But for now I'll just enjoy the pretty covers.

I was looking at my TBR pile earlier this week and it's getting so high again! I really need to stop buying books and first read all those on my shelves! That's going to be tough. But I managed to just buy one book this week! So that's a good start.

This week I was sick, really sick, for the first time in years. And I'd always imagined it as something special. A few days off with lots of reading, watching TV, you name it. I got a rough wake up call! I had the flu, so everything hurt and the world wouldn't stop spinning. Aka no reading. I'm a little better now, so I'm catching up on all that lost reading time! 

While I was past out in bed I got some pretty exciting books this week! I'd won two books from two different blogs a while ago and they arrived at the same day this week! They always tend to do that! And I got approved for both Fragments and Mila 2.0! I'm so excited to read all these books!

Just one book for me this week. But with good reason, because I spend four days in Berlin this week! And that was so awesome! I've seen a lot of the city and it's so beautiful! Especially with all the snow. But since I don't read German I didn't buy any books there. It was an awesome week!

We had the first snow of the year this week! I always enjoy the first day and the days I don't have to go outside! Going to work is kind of a nightmare right now. So, what do I do to make it all better? Read books! I finally started The Goddess Test this week. And I'm in love with this series! It's amazing! I immediately downloaded the novella and I'm buying the second book soon! 

I also got Dance of Shadows in the mail this week! I wasn't expecting it, so that was an awesome surprise! It's the most beautiful cover I've ever seen and I can't wait to read it!

One of my New Year Resolutions for 2013 was to buy not so many books any more. I broke this resolution big time this week! I promised myself to read at least two books for every one I bought. I should have read at least 20 books this week. And that didn't happen. But to make it less bad: I didn't buy any books this week!

I'm really happy with this week's haul! I got approved for two amazing ARC's. And I mean A-MA-ZING! Also found some awesome freebies. I had been looking for Turned at Dark for a long time, because I couldn't find it anywhere, but C.C. Hunter put it on her website, Yay! I also got some late birthday gifts this week! Time to take some days off and do nothing but read!

The first week of this year was pretty great! I love thinking about all the books that I'll read this year. So far it's looking very good. I've set my Goodreads Reading Challenge to 100 books this year. Last year I made 120, but with having a job again I don't think I'll read that much this year. 

Although it's very dangerous for my TBR pile. I want to buy all the books! This is me holding back. I bought three books this week (and more today, but that's for next week!). 2013 looks like a promising book year!
