Synopsis from Goodreads: When Jacqueline follows her longtime boyfriend to the college of his choice, the last thing she expects is a breakup two months into sophomore year. After two weeks in shock, she wakes up to her new reality: she's single, attending a state university instead of a music conservatory, ignored by her former circle of friends, and failing a class for the first time in her life.

Leaving a party alone, Jacqueline is assaulted by her ex's frat brother. Rescued by a stranger who seems to be in the right place at the right time, she wants nothing more than to forget the attack and that night--but her savior, Lucas, sits on the back row of her econ class, sketching in a notebook and staring at her. Her friends nominate him to be the perfect rebound.

When her attacker turns stalker, Jacqueline has a choice: crumple in defeat or learn to fight back. Lucas remains protective, but he's hiding secrets of his own. Suddenly appearances are everything, and knowing who to trust is anything but easy.

How to express my feelings for this book? This is what I've been thinking for the past couple of days? Ever had that dreading feeling of wanting to write a review for a book you totally loved, but you just have no words for it? That's me right now. Most of the time I don't come closer than it's AMAZING!!! But even that doesn't really say it all! Yes, that's how incredible this story is!

For a long time I felt hesitant about reading contemporaries. Don't ask me why, because I've no idea. But still, even after reading and LOVING Pushing the Limits I don't read a lot of contemporaries. But the books I've read so far are just so amazing! Like Easy, why didn't I read this sooner?!

The story is about Jacqueline, who followed her boyfriend to a college she doesn't particularly like and then he dumps her, out of the blue. To make things worse she's ignored by all her former friends (with a few exceptions of course) and when she's leaving a party alone she's assaulted by one of these former 'friends'. She's rescued by a mysterious guy she hasn't seen before and she manages to escape.
And this was only the first chapter. It blew me away! Tammara, I can't thank you enough for writing this amazing book.

I love reading YA, but the heavier subjects, like rape, aren't seen very much there. It's tough reading about it, even though I've never been in a situation like that myself (luckily!), but it's reality and things like that happen. People should be more aware how it (being rape or another crime) affects people and changes their lives. Tammara writes about it and makes you feel it!

The relationship between Jacqueline and Lucas is so beautiful! They both have been through a lot, but you see that it brings them closer together. Easy was the first book in months that actually made me cry! You feel what Jacqueline feels and it doesn't let you go. This story will stay with me for a long time. Everything about it was just right. The characters, the plot twists, the writing style, just everything.

While writing this review I'm trying to get my head straight about the story and what I thought of it. Writing this down makes it a bit easier, but also a bit harder. I don't want to give away any spoilers and I'm afraid I will when I go fan-girling about it! You just have to read this book and find out for yourself how amazing it truly is!
