Top Ten Favorite Books I Read Before I Was A Blogger

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish. Every Tuesday has another topic and different bloggers give their top ten. I love making lists, so here's mine for this week!

This week's topic is

Top Ten Favorite Books I Read Before I Was A Blogger

I've been a blogger for almost a year now, so there are a lot of books I read and love before blogging. Making a Top Ten wasn't easy (like it's ever easy!), but here are my favorite books before the summer of 2012!

1  Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Harry Potter, #1)

I think this is the series I've reread the most times of all the books I've ever read. So I think it's save to say that this is one of my absolute favorites!

 2  Stravaganza by Mary Hoffman
City of Masks (Stravaganza, #1)
Another series. It's probably the idea to put one book at a time on this list, but I can't resist! I love this series and I'm really sad that it ended earlier than suspected.

 3  Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Twilight (Twilight, #1)
During my teens I didn't read that much and this was the first book I picked up after a long time and it got me totally hooked on reading again. And because of that it deserves a place on this list.

4  The Secret Circle by L.J. Smith
The Secret Circle: The Initiation and The Captive Part I (The Secret Circle, #1-2)
I love books about witches and this one was my absolute favorite before I started blogging.

5  Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
Shatter Me (Shatter Me, #1)
Tahereh Mafi's writing style is so amazing! Definitely one of my favorites.

6  Finding Sky by Joss Stirling
Finding Sky (Benedicts, #1)
Finding Sky reminds me of all the time I spent on amazon searching for new books. This was one of them and I absolutely loved it! I kind of missed those days. I picked what I thought I would like and never read reviews. I'm more prejudiced about the books I read these days, because of all the reviews I read.

7  Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Sisterhood of Traveling Pants, #1)
I loved the first four books in this series. There was a time I wished I could be part of this sisterhood. I read the last book last year and I did love it, but not as much as the other books.

8  Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
Wicked Lovely (Wicked Lovely, #1)
I fell in love with the cover of this book and I've spent many hours staring at it deciding if I wanted to read it. I did and loved it!

 9  Delirium by Lauren Oliver
Delirium (Delirium, #1)
Lauren Oliver is such an amazing author. I love her books. Delirium made a huge impression on me, but that ending! It broke my heart so bad I haven't dared pick up the other two books in the series yet.

10 Beastly by Alex Flinn
Beastly
I love fairy tale retellings and this is one of my favorites. Also I bought this book while I was in New York City and it will always remind me of the amazing time I had there!

What are you're favorite books before you were a blogger?

  1. Oh my gosh, I've been wanting to read Beastly!
And the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, I loved reading that! It was sweet, funny, sad, and a whole mixture of emotions!
Wicked Lovely was really nice too, but I found the rest of the books in the series kinda boring.... But that's my opinion~

  3. For the last few weeks making the Top Ten has been really difficult. Harry Potter has been a very popular book today, but that isn't anything shocking.

  7. I loved Finding Sky! Such an awesome book. Delirium is fantastic too, I only read it because everyone on the blogosphere was talking about it and I was sure I was missing out! (And I was!) I still need to read Shatter Me, I have a copy of it but I just need the time to read it, haha!
