Clare C. Marshall grew up in rural Nova Scotia with very little television and dial up internet, and yet, she turned out okay. She has a combined honours degree in journalism and psychology from the University of King’s College, and is a graduate from Humber College’s Creative Book Publishing Program. She is a full time freelance editor, book designer, web manager, and publishing consultant. She enjoys publishing books through her imprint, Faery Ink Press. When she’s not writing, she enjoys playing the fiddle and making silly noises at cats.

I heard once that yellow isn't a preferred color for a cover, since statistics show that they sell less than other colors on books. Yellow is indeed not my favorite color as well, but I have to say that I do like this cover! It looks so fresh! 

I still have to start this series, but I did buy the Soul Screamers Vol. 1 a while ago. But like all the other books I bought a while ago it's still on my TBR pile. I promise you I'll start it soon! I've heard amazing things about it!

Not because I like it that much (I do, but I like the one of Pushing the Limits better), but mostly because it's one step closer to publication day!

Last Tuesday I was checking out the Upcoming YA novels in 2013 list on Goodreads and had already seen this cover. I thought I'd missed the reveal, but was immediately intrigued by the cover! I think it's the most beautiful in the series! The dress, the colors  the water fall, just so pretty! I would have loved it if you could see the entire face of the girl, I'm not really into the half faces most of the time. I loved Fated and can't wait for Echo (less than a week!!) and than Mystic!

At the beginning of last summer the right cover was revealed, but last week a second cover got published. It's not completely clear to me if this is a second cover or if it's a replacement for the first. And I'm not sure yet which I like better! I love that the color of the dress matches with the cover. If they're both going to be published it's going to be a tough decision!

My favorite is definitely Opal. I love Daemons eyes, they bring so much tension in the cover. If I see this in a book store, I would pick it up! 

I like the other covers in the Revenants series better. Now that I'm blogging I don't pick my books on covers anymore, but I just to, since it was the first thing I would see of a new book. This cover doesn't look like a Young Adult cover to me, but maybe I'm just crazy! I will read it anyway :). 

I'm so excited there's going to be a Firelight novella! I love this series! I like the cover. It's simple, but strong. And very different from the rest of the series.
